Eating certain foods is key in keeping your smile healthy and white. Acidic foods like citrus fruits, sports drinks and tomatoes can erode tooth enamel.

But while those food cause damage to your teeth, there are quite a few things you can consume that will benefit your smile. Spinach and drinking milk is good for you because it contains plenty of calcium. Calcium is essential for the health of your teeth. Another important vitamin for teeth is Vitamin D. You can find a good source of D in oily fish, as well as milk.  Carrots are another important veggie that promotes a healthy mouth. The consumption of carrots provide the body with Vitamin A. Vitamin A aids in production of saliva. Saliva contains anti-bacterial qualities that maintain the quality of life for both your teeth and gums.
