If it has been a while since you were seen by a dentist because you do not have insurance for dental care, you do not have to wait any longer. You can visit a dentist without insurance and get the dental care that you need. Instead of suffering in pain or dealing with having broken or missing teeth that cause you to feel embarrassed when you eat or smile, you can have these dental issues dealt with by experienced dental care professionals. Consider these ways of paying for dental care even if you do not have insurance.
Care Credit Card
Care Credit Card is a health and dental care line of credit. This line of credit can only be used on healthcare and dental care services. The card comes with a low interest rate, minimal or no fees and monthly payments that are based on your income. If you apply for and receive one of these cards, you can get the care that you need all at once and then make monthly payments on the services.
Health Savings Accounts
Healthcare savings accounts are set up through your employer. These accounts allow you to contribute tax-free dollars that can be used on medical and dental care expenses. You can use this account to pay for fillings, crowns, root canals, dental implants and other dental care needs. You and your employer can both contribute funds to the account.
You may be able to work out a payment plan with your dentist for the care that you need. In some cases, you may be asked to apply for a Care Credit Card first. A typical payment plan might consist of an initial down payment of 10 to 20 percent of the cost of your care, followed by monthly payments until the remainder of your dental care is paid.
