Braces are applied to teeth for various reasons including jaw misalignment, crooked teeth, bad bites and missing teeth. While genetics play a large part in the appearance of your teeth, many lifestyle choices can lead to alterations in tooth formation over a period of time. Common contributors are thumb sucking and injuries to the jaw.

Children between 10 and 14 years old represent the typical demographic for braces, as this age represents a solid base of still-growing adult teeth and facial structures, although we do many cases of adult braces as well. We offer braces using the traditional metal brackets, white porcelain brackets, as well as Invisalign.
